On November 29, 2011, Governor Snyder announced his selection of Mike Brown, PCF President and Director of the Flint Area Reinvestment Office (FARO), as the Emergency Manager (EM) for the City of Flint, effective Thursday, December 1, 2011.

During this time, Mike will take a leave of absence from PCF as he focuses his time on the revitalization and stability of Flint.

There is no more capable, trusted, or qualified individual than Mike to take this post. The PCF team stands proud of Mike and his decision to help tackle the significant challenges in Flint. We await his return to PCF in due time.
