Stanley S. Kogut, Jr.


Mr. Stanley S. Kogut, Jr. assumed the role of superintendent of Ingham Intermediate School District on July 1, 2005.  Mr. Kogut had served as deputy superintendent since 2001, and held a number of administrative positions with Ingham ISD during his 25-year tenure, including assistant superintendent for operations and director of human resources.  Prior to his service with Ingham ISD, Mr. Kogut began his career in 1972 as a biology teacher. After graduating from law school, he worked in the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office, as an assistant attorney general in the Civil Rights Division and in private practice in Birmingham.

Mr. Kogut attended Wayne State University School of Law where he obtained a Juris Doctorate and a Master of Law Degree, specializing in labor law.  He also received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Michigan State University. 

Diane K. Newman


Diane Newman is currently the Response to Intervention (RtI) Coach at Haslett Middle School and Haslett High School.  She has served in this position for the past three years.  Diane started teaching in Haslett in 1996 and was a teacher consultant at the middle school.  Prior to working in Haslett, she taught at Lahser High School in Bloomfield Hills and Lutheran School for the Deaf in Detroit.  Diane conducts professional development trainings focused on research-based reading interventions.  She also has been a private tutor working with students in the areas of reading, math and study skills.

Diane attended Michigan State University where she obtained her undergraduate degree in special education and elementary education.  She received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Oakland University specializing in reading/language arts.   

Amy Hodgson


Amy Hodgson is the current superintendent and former high school principal at Dansville Schools in Dansville, Michigan. Prior to working in this district, Mrs. Hodgson was an assistant principal at Howell Public Schools and taught science for thirteen years at Fowlerville Community Schools.  In addition to her role as superintendent, she also serves as the district’s curriculum director. Mrs. Hodgson currently resides in Dansville with her husband, Cal and their three sons.

Michelle Nicholson 

 

Michelle Nicholson is the Supervisor of Early Childhood Education at Ingham Intermediate School District and has a M.A. in Education and B.S. in Special Education.

Michelle has worked with education, human service and non-profit organizations, providing and administering early childhood/early childhood special education programs and home based services in Colorado and Michigan. Michelle worked for the Michigan Department of Education as the state Part C Coordinator. She has extensive background in systems work and interagency coordination as well as program supervision and implementation.
