Holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Michigan State University, a Microsoft Application Developers certification and has 14 years of web development experience. Ryan works directly with our clients to outline project scope and ensure the success of our client projects. Ryan is involved with every aspect of our client's projects, from conception through deployment.
Melodee produces stories, films and other communications materials about communities in transformation. She worked extensively with the Mid Michigan Innovation Team to tell their story as they work to renew regional prosperity. She has dedicated substantial time to understanding key initiatives underway in the region and to convey the importance and outcomes of those efforts in succinct and compelling ways. She also has been involved in documenting transformations in the City of Washington, D.C.’s extensive Department of Human Services. She worked to engage employers and conduct partner outreach as part of the conceptual development process resulting in Macomb Community College’s successful establishment of a defense-related education and training initiative.
Melodee has spent years working with the independent press in Michigan to promote and distribute video and paper documentation on important current events. Melodee's in-depth writing about community challenges in Flint, Michigan received national attention, and her ethnographic work has enjoyed an international audience. Melodee's community film-making has focused on such topics as the reactions of autoworkers to the struggles of the auto companies, reimagining the use of brownfields left behind when factories close, and developing inner-city youth leadership.
Melodee holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan-Flint, with minor areas of concentration in Women and Gender Studies.
